Diving

 The FAST Diving Program is an AAU program that practices 3 days per week.

 

All divers need to be memebrs of the AAU. You may do this online at AAUSports.org. The club code is XTCC3Y

 

Program Objective:

To encourage students to stretch their diving abilities by achieving certain proficiency award levels as indicated in teh Bronze, Silver and God standard tests.  To build a solid base for each athlete to maximize his/her advancement in the sport of diving.

 

Tests:

  • One Meter Bronze Standard (5 dive test): 5 dives from 5 diving groups, divers must achieve an average of at least 5 pts per judge per dive over the 5 dives.  Degree of difficulty is not applicable: pure score counts.
  • One Meter Silve Standard (8 dive test): 5 dives from 5 diving groups, plus 3 dives from a different diving group & no dive to be repeated over entire test.  Diver must achieve an average of at least 5.5 pts per judge per dive for the 8 dives.  Degree of difficulty is not applicable: pure score counts.
  • One Meter Gold Standard (11 dive test): 5 dives from 5 diving groups, plus 5 dives each from a different diving group, plus 1 additional dive, no dive to be repeated over entire test.  Diver to achieve an average of at least 6 pts per judge per dive for the 11 dives.  Degree of difficulty is not applicable, pure score counts.
