NO DIVE PRACTICE ON THURSDAY JUNE 17 due to graduation. FAST Diving practice times will be changing starting on Tuesday June 1. The practice will start at 5:30 and end at 7:00. After school ends we will have new practice times for the summer.
Family members and friends are encouraged to attend the pool for test events to provide support to our divers. We plan to make awards following the successful completion of the tests
Make sure you are a member of AAU diving. You do this at AAUdiving.org when asked what your club is it is FAST Diving. The club code is PSDI3A7KB9.
All divers need to be registered wil AAU Diving. you can do this online.
Diving Team The Fallbrook Associated Swim Team is now offering a dive program. All interested divers will need to be registered with AAU Diving. Program Objectives: To encourage students to stretch their diving abilities by achieving certain proficiency award levels as indicated in the Bronze, Silver and Gold standard tests, and in the long-term to build a solid base for each student to maximize his/her advancement in the sport of diving.
Tests:
One Meter Bronze Standard (5 dive test)
5 dives from five diving groups, diver must achieve an average of at least 5 points per judge per dive over the 5 dives. Degree of difficulty is not applicable, pure score counts.
One Meter Silver Standard (8 dive test)
5 dives from five diving groups, plus 3 dives each from a different diving group no dive to be repeated over entire test. Diver must achieve an average of at least 5.5 points per judge per dive for the eight dives. Degree of difficulty is not applicable, pure score counts.
One Meter Gold Standard (11 dive test)
5 dives from five diving groups, plus 5 dives each from a different diving groups, plus 1 additional dive, no dive to be repeated over entire test. Diver to achieve an average of at least
6 points per judge per dive for the 11 dives. Degree of difficulty is not applicable, pure score counts.
